To G4 Cube δημιουργήθηκε από τον σχεδιαστή Johny Ive, καθώς και το ενδιαφέρον του Steve Jobs για υπολογιστές σε σχήμα κύβου. Κυκλοφόρησε το 2001 και βασιζόταν στον επεξεργαστή G4. Η πρόσβαση στο εσωτερικό ήταν ιδιαίτερα απλή, μιας και μπορούσε όλο το μηχάνημα να ανοίξει με τη βοήθεια ενός χερουλιού. Παρά τον εντυπωσιακό σχεδιασμό, το Cube ήταν αρκετά ακριβό και πολύ αργό -συγκριτικά- σε επιδόσεις.

The G4 Cube was designed by Johny Ive and was inspired by Steve Jobs and his (almost) obsession with cubes. It was released in 2001 to much praise for the innovative design. Apart from the external design, it offered easy access to the internal components through a handle that allowed the entire computer to slide off the main case. However, due to its high price and average performance, it was not a commercial success.
