The Olivetti M20 was a fast, 16-bit computer, launched in 1982. It was based on the Zilog Z8000 and had very good performance for its time. However, the choice of a proprietary operating system -PCOS- was probably not a very good choice, since it was not compatible with most mainstream systems of the time. It was replaced with the IBM Compatible M24.
